The WKND 2025 | Volunteers
The WKND 2025 is coming up! And we need YOUR help to pull off this awesome fall retreat at our South Barrington Campus!
The WKND is JHM’s on-site fall retreat that is packed with a ton of fun, including awesome games, and delicious food. Students will get to hang out in their small groups where they can explore their faith and build community with other Jr. Highers.
When: Friday, November 7- Saturday, November 8th
Where: Willow Creek, South Barrington
Who: YOU! Whether you have served with JHM for years or want to try out a serve, we would love to have your help in making this event a huge success!
Available Roles:
Please note that you must be 18 years or older to serve at this event.
Office Helpers: This team helps us BEFORE the event even begins! We will need some help setting up spaces, organizing, hanging up signs, etc.

- Thursday 11/6 1:00-3:00pm
- Friday 11/7 12:00pm-2:30pm
- Friday 11/7 3:00-5:00pm
Check In: This team helps us as students start arriving to The WKND on Friday Night and Saturday Morning.

- Saturday 11/8 9:15am-10:45am
Friday Night Operations: This team helps us with setting up/tearing down different activities, handing out hoodies, and snacks. It also includes extra support for our Friday Night Activity (Silent Disco!).

Saturday Operations: This team is helps us with setting up/tearing down different activities, resetting rooms, lunch/dinner management, and helping students find their way!
- Saturday 11/8 Morning: 9:30am-12:30pm,
- Saturday 11/8 Afternoon: 12:00pm-5pm,
- Saturday 11/8 Night: 4:00pm-8:30pm
All volunteers who serve with us (with the exception of Office Helpers) will be required to go through our protection process. This helps us to make sure that every adult in our space is vetted and safe to be around minors. Once you register you may receive an additional email within a week of your registration regarding your protection - please be sure to check your spam/junk folders in the weeks to come if you don't see anything in your inbox.
