Thrive: Introduction to 4word: DuPage

THRIVE is our quarterly gathering with all the women of Willow Wheaton. This Fall, we are going to have a special virtual programming that will include worship, a short devotional, and an introduction to 4word and 4word: DuPage.

About 4word:

Many Christian women in the workplace feel isolated and overwhelmed. If you are one of them, you don't have to be alone anymore!

A 4word Community Group provides a community where you will find real, passionate, faithful women like you who “get it.” 4word Community Groups meet regularly in small gatherings and large events, providing relationships and resources to help women live out their faith in the workplace, where God has called them to serve. They use flexible formats, from more casual themed conversations to book studies and speaker events, all focused on helping women reach their God-given callings with confidence.

4word:DuPage seeks to connect, lead, and support Christian women in the workplace to help them achieve their God-given potential with confidence. We see our faith as our foundation, our relationships as our priority and our work as the place God has uniquely gifted us to serve. With these goals in mind, there will be monthly meetups and quarterly events.

In partnership with Willow Wheaton’s Women’s Ministry, there will be bi-weekly 4word application studies. Each session will go through the monthly 4Word discussion guide covering topics about living out our faith in family and career. In addition, the group will meet for quarterly events including happy-hour networking events, special guest speakers, and other opportunities to connect and build deeper relationships.

We will have two guest speakers, that will help us kick-off the 4word: DuPage Chapter:

- Kathryn M.Tack, Executive Director, Coach and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team, and Board Member at 4Word Chicago

- Alyssa Huber, Marketing Specialist for the Arts and Marketing Communications at Wheaton College, and champion of the 4Word DuPage Chapter.

Our hope is that this group becomes a nurturing space where the women at Willow Wheaton and throughout DuPage can find support and encouragement in your career and personal life, as you build authentic friendships with women who share your Christ-centered values.
