Student Ministries (JH-HS)

Student Ministries exist to help junior high and high schoolers take the next step in their relationship with Jesus. Our goal is that every student in Chicagoland feels connected to a community that lives out Jesus’ unconditional love. Our large group services give students the opportunity to engage in worship, small groups, teaching and of course, lots of fun. Join the fun by being a team member in one of the following roles:

Band Member

Vocalists and musicians help lead students in worship and teach them what it means to sing to a God who loves them. Auditions are required.

Available at Crystal Lake, North Shore, South Barrington, South Lake, Wheaton.

Greeter

Welcome students as they arrive, connect newcomers to leaders and other students, and create a warm and welcoming environment.

HSM Small Group Leader

Walk alongside a group of students during the best (and worst) parts of high school. Spend time weekly getting to know your students, doing life together, and being someone they can talk to.

JHM Small Group Leader

Walk alongside a group of students during the best (and worst) parts of junior high. Spend time weekly getting to know your students, doing life together, and being someone they can talk to.

Operations Volunteer

Assist with service operations by providing behind-the-scenes logistical support. The Operations team completes a myriad of operations and tasks to keep the Student Ministries services running safely and smoothly. Whether it’s check-in, setting up the space, or other tasks– this team helps create an environment where students feel safe and welcome to explore their faith.

Stage Host

Assist with hosting on stage games, announcements, and other program elements. Create a high energy and inclusive environment for students to connect with each other and have fun.

Tech Volunteer

Help the student program run smoothly by operating cameras, graphics, lighting, and/or sound equipment. Training on how to use the equipment will be provided during volunteer onboarding, no previous experience is required..
