Kids Ministry (Birth-5th Grade)
Willow Kids and other kids serving opportunities at Willow helps kids from birth to 5th grade explore, wonder, and belong so they can know and follow Jesus. We strive to create kid-first experiences that are relational, God-centered, and fun! Be a part of helping kids find a place to belong, where they feel seen and known.
Aftershock is a program for kids who attend both services at Willow because their parents are either on staff or are attending one service and then volunteering for the other service. This is a program based completely around FUN! The role of the volunteer is to hang out with the kids, have lunch together, and play games.

Share a warm, friendly greeting to kids and families as they enter our various environments and assist with the check-in & out process of kids at the start and end of service. This team serves as our primary connection to new and returning families, helping to create a welcoming and excellent experience.

Lead elements of the kids program including games and transitions to videos from the stage. Create a high-energy and inclusive environment for kids to connect with each other and have fun.

Pair up with an assigned child who would benefit from some extra support to provide a positive and safe experience in Willow Kids.

Be a part of what happens behind the scenes, by making sure Willow Kids has everything it needs to succeed on a Sunday morning. This team completes a myriad of operations and tasks to keep the Willow Kids services running smoothly. Whether it’s helping sanitize toys, setting up small group carts, or some other task—this is a crucial part of Willow Kids.

Provide administrative support for the classroom to families, volunteers, and staff throughout the service to ensure that kids feel loved and not alone.

This team serves with a strong commitment to the safety of our kids, volunteers, and families. Responsible for taking the initiative to address any safety issues that arise in rooms and monitoring hallways and kids environments.

Provide support to multiple classrooms during the service time, making sure they are all running smoothly and have everything they need, including monitoring volunteer ratios and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Guide kids to want to know and follow Jesus by fostering a consistent environment of warmth & encouragement so they can explore, wonder, and belong. (Ages 2–5th Grade). Small group leaders love kids, love having fun, and are relational connectors.

Help the kids programs run smoothly by operating cameras, graphics, lighting, and/or sound equipment. Training on how to use the equipment will be provided during volunteer onboarding, no previous experience is required.
